Kimberly Campbell Ronning lives and works in Vancouver and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University. She is a member of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc Nation and her practice is grounded in ceramics. Her work explores hand-built and wheel-thrown forms, with a recent focus on closed forms that emphasize sound and space. Her practice incorporates Indigenous materials and processes, including horsehair, moose tufting, sinew and weaving. Through these material relationships, she engages in a self-directed process of cultural learning.
