Art at YVR

Located in the Musqueum Welcome Area, Out of the Silence is a collection of Musqueam weavings celebrating Coast Salish art and craft. Suspended from the ceilingthese dynamically patterned 4.9 metre by 1.5 metre weavings are boldly woven in red, black, gold and white. They are eye-dazzling combinations of zigzags, double diamonds and checkerboards, reflecting many of the traditional elements found in Coast Salish blankets.
